Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of arpaintingsf.com and the painting services provided by A & R Painting and Design LLC. Your signed estimate governs the specific work we do for you; where that estimate and these terms disagree, the estimate wins.

Quotes and estimates

Quotes are free and carry no obligation. A quote is based on what we can see at the walk-through. If we open up a wall, strip a surface, or find rot, mold, or prior work that has to be corrected first, we will stop, show you what we found, and give you a revised price in writing before continuing. We do not do extra work and bill you for it afterward.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise in writing.

Scheduling and access

We will agree on a start date with you in advance. Exterior work depends on weather, and rain, high humidity, or temperatures outside a coating's rated range will push a schedule. We will tell you as soon as we know.

You agree to give us safe access to the work area on the agreed days, and to let us know about pets, alarm systems, or anything else we should know before we arrive.

Your property

We mask, cover, and protect the areas we work in. Please move or tell us about anything fragile, valuable, or irreplaceable before we start. We are not responsible for damage to items that were not disclosed and not removed.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in your estimate. Unless it says otherwise, payment is due on completion and after you have walked the job with us. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice.

Workmanship guarantee

We stand behind our work. If our workmanship fails, tell us and we will come back and fix it. This guarantee covers our labor and application. It does not cover normal wear, damage from impact, settlement cracks, water intrusion from outside the painted surface, surfaces you asked us to paint against our written recommendation, or failure of a paint product itself, which is covered by the manufacturer's own warranty.

Financing

Financing, where offered, is provided by an independent third-party lender, not by A & R Painting. Approval, rates, and terms are set by that lender. We receive your application only to pass it along and we do not make lending decisions.

Text message program

Our SMS program is optional and is described in our Privacy Policy. Message frequency varies, typically 2–6 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Photos of completed work

We may photograph finished work for our portfolio and marketing. Photos show the work only, never your name or address. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not.

Website content

Everything on this site, including our project photographs, belongs to A & R Painting and Design LLC. Please do not reuse it without asking. We keep the site accurate but cannot guarantee it is free of errors, and nothing on it is a binding offer until it is in a written estimate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to our work is limited to the amount you paid us for that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability we are not permitted to limit, including for personal injury caused by our negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Duval County, Florida.
